The Staxx Brothers are a high energy American band, hailing from Seattle, WA. These brothers and sisters have created a legacy in this century, with 100s of amazing live shows and well earned reputation for delivering albums that only get better with time.

It all starts with great songs. Tunes like “Sugarwalls” and “Black & Mild” and “Keep The Motor Runnin'” trick musicians and listeners alike into considering them sleek but simple vehicles. That is until they look under the hood and find songs super charged with subtle shifts of time, clever chord changes, and counterpoint that is just as Mozart as Motown.

But then there is the sound. Music critic Dennis Cook called it, “Hard Ass Soul”.

It’s quite simply the most danceable and hip shaking brand of rock & roll to hit US streets since Motown left the Motor City.
