DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS \nWe are thrilled to welcome Snovalley Pride back as they bring their entertaining\, uplifting\, and applause-inducing drag show back to Miller’s for their exciting Fierce Halloween Drag Show on Thursday\, October 30th from 7-9pm! \nExperience the spooktacular musings of our amazing Queens… Amora Namour\, Holli B. Sinclair\, Celys S. Black\, Macy Marcs\, and Melody Volt Paradisco! Our Queens will perform spooky songs for you\, and in between their sets we will host fun haunted games with audience participation! Do you have an awesome costume? Well\, dress up and compete in our Costume Contest! A Grand Prize will be awarded for the best costume too! \nDrag has a rich cultural history that spans across decades\, it has transformed from a common theatre practice to a political stand against fixed roles of gender and sexuality. Whilst drag has maintained a powerful presence in entertainment\, it also deserves recognition for being an example of an expressive and empowering art form. It is a form of performance and art and should be considered as such. It combines skills of fashion and facial/bodily metamorphosis to create the illusion of a gender. Drag queens exude femininity and female empowerment through their appearance. Ultimately\, drag is about becoming a whole new person\, freed by concepts of gender and sexuality. It is intended to liberate and excite! This is a wonderful way to come out and support our 2SLGBTQ+ community\, at a time when that is desperately needed. We hope you can join us! \nYou are welcome to bring in food from outside\, but no drinks please. We have a full bar with non-alcoholic options. \nDoors open at 6pm\, Shows begin at 7pm. Sinclair\, Celys S. Black\, and Melody Volt Paradisco! Get ready for a night of holly-jolly hilarity\, fierce festive fashion\, and performances so electric they’ll light up your tree! Between sets\, join in on our “Reindeer Games”\, our fun holiday contests and audience shenanigans that will have you sleighing with laughter. \nGot an ugly sweater that would make Santa blush? Well\, wear it and strut your stuff in our Ugly Sweater Parade! Come for the cheer\, stay for the queer because it’s the most wonderful time of the year! \nAs federal cuts place added pressure on local food banks\, Snovalley Pride is answering the call to care for our community. Together\, we’ll help fill pantry shelves and hearts. We ask attendees to our Drag Show to join us in this effort with all donations collected at our Holiday Drag Shows benefit food banks in the upper and lower Valley. \nDrag has a rich cultural history that spans across decades\, it has transformed from a common theatre practice to a political stand against fixed roles of gender and sexuality.
