DESCRIPTION:For the past two decades\, Georgetown in south Seattle has been the artistic heartbeat of the Emerald City. Known for its vibrant underground circus\, burlesque scene\, and\, since 2002\, the renowned “junkyard cabaret” band\, The Bad Things\, this neighborhood has fostered a unique artistic community. It is also the birthplace of Seattle’s renegade brass band movement\, now celebrated at national festivals like HONK \nIn 2024\, The Bad Things brought their first Vaudeville Show to Miller’s in Carnation\, featuring the Chaotic Noise Marching Corps. The sold-out event was a roaring success\, with a 25-piece brass band invading the venue from all angles\, fire performances\, burlesque acts\, stilt walkers\, and The Bad Things’ eclectic mix of folk punk\, Eastern European cabaret\, and classic American roots music \nNow\, the Vaudeville Show is back on Saturday\, September 6th\, on Miller’s newly christened outdoor stage.
