DESCRIPTION:Paula Boggs Band blends jazz and Americana\, touring and releasing a steady stream of music since 2010. Acts they have opened for include Sunny War\, Eric Bibb and The Cave Singers. They call their sound “Seattle Brewed Soulgrass” and 4th studio album\, “Janus\,” featuring Carolina Chocolate Drops co-founder Dom Flemons\, released in 2022. Their next project\, “Traces of You Instrumental” single\, is set to release later in 2023. \n“Boggs captures a raw nostalgia …that might catch you by surprise.  She has created a gentle groove for your heartache.” – Americana Highways\n“Rewriting the bluegrass story from a black perspective.” – AmericanaUK \nKevin Murphy has been performing with his band\, beloved “The Moondoggies” for over 15 years. Their music is a blend of rock and roll\, and folk music\, with four albums and two EP’s on Sub Pop imprint “Hardly Art.” More recently Murphy co-formed “Small Paul\, ” born in a Seattle basement In the early days of COVID as a happy accident.
