SUMMARY:Anna Tivel with special guest Nathaniel Talbot
DESCRIPTION:Oregon-based songwriter Anna Tivel’s newest album ‘Outsiders’ starts with a lens so wide we’ve left the planet to look back from a great distance at the turmoil and beauty of our shared humanity. From there the lens pulls close and unfolds in a gripping collection of stories so often ignored. Tivel’s flawed and honest characters move through a landscape of hurt and loss\, of small triumph and big love. In eleven songs full of recognition\, veracity\, and hope\, Tivel’s watchful and empathetic eye details the undeniable ache of living. \nNathaniel Talbot’s music has dirt under its fingernails\, the product of decades of hard work and crafting – retuning\, replanting\, and retelling. The result is true American roots music that combines the soulful edge of tradition with the Pacific Northwest’s legacy of freedom and innovation. \n*Tickets are nonrefundable\, unless the show is cancelled\, or rescheduled.  If you cannot attend a show\, tickets can be transferred from the purchaser to another individual\, or individuals. Tickets purchased for a specific event cannot be transferred to a different event. \nBeer\, wine\, and non-alcoholic beverages are available.  Food can be brought in from area restaurants.  No outside drinks please. \nAll ages.

SUMMARY:Byland with Isabeau Waia'u Walker
DESCRIPTION:Byland is the moniker and last name of Seattle based\, Albuquerque raised\, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist\, Alie Renee.  Alie’s cinematic\, indie-rock sound is tethered by timeless songwriting and attentive production. Her music is grounded by vocally vulnerable moments that will move you to lean in. Her latest studio record\, “Gray”\, is “a little weird” and breathes into intriguing and often offbeat arrangements. \nAfter releasing “Gray” in late 2020\, Byland received recognition from outlets like KEXP\, American Songwriter\, and Pop Matters\, among others. The record was co-written with her partner\, Jacob John and produced by Nathan Yaccino\, along with additional mixing by Andy Park. Notable contributors alongside Alie include a lineup of powerful females – Jessica Dobson (Deep Sea Diver)\, Meagan Grandall (Lemolo)\, and Abby Gundersen. \nBright gloom\, a single duality of the many that define Isabeau Waia’u Walker. Songs that are soothing and soft while powerful\, accessible while complex\, sweet but aching. The tension of the contradiction that she holds nest in her core and reverberates through the layers of her product: storytelling\, collaboration\, presentation\, music. \nAll ages.

SUMMARY:Warren Dunes and Babes in Canyon
DESCRIPTION:Warren Dunes plays PNW Tropicalia and is led by keyboardist/vocalist Julia Massey. Their unique style of Beach Rock is born from the cold waters and grey sky beaches of the Salish Sea and is highlighted by Massey’s double keyboards and crystalline voice soaring over chiming guitars and thundering drums from husband Jared Cortese and his brother Dominic Cortese.  A long-time favorite in Seattle\, Massey’s newest project has gained broader attention with performances at festivals around the PNW including Treefort Music Fest\, and notable performances at Seattle’s Zoo Tunes and the historic Neptune Theater. Most recently their debut LP “Get Well Soon” was voted KEXP’s #20 album of 2021. \nEloquently blending big-pine folk\, indie-pop\, and sweet vocal harmonies\, Babes in Canyon crafts music that is eminently engaging and very much of the moment. Born of a spontaneous writing session during a blackout\, their debut EP Second Cities unfolds with an easy grace that belies the relative newness of the endeavor. Nuanced\, expertly arranged\, yet profoundly catchy\, Babes in Canyon stands ready to soundtrack your adventures (spontaneous or otherwise). \nAll ages. \n
