In 2006\, she made the move to Nashville\, Tennessee and has since penned songs in multiple genres\, including: pop\, country\, rock\, AAA and Euro dance. Some notable tracks are “Promise Me Love” – Reba McEntire (Love Somebody)\, Lonestar “Here We Go Again” and “I’ve Been Wrong Before” (Never Enders). She’s also the founder and host of the award-winning Hey Human podcast. She currently resides in Santa Monica\, CA. \nSusan Ruth \nSnoqualmie Valley’s own Rick Latona got into music playing his forlorn guitar with his friends on porches both front and back\, inspired by the sweet sounds of his strongest initial influences: The Devil Makes Three and Old Crow Medicine Show. \nHe got his first dollar busking on the streets of Pike Place Market and he was hooked. Today he continues his time-honored musical propensities as a solo artist as well as a member of The Latona Family Band and The Amber Lanterns. \n*Tickets are nonrefundable\, unless show is cancelled\, or rescheduled.   \nAll ages. \nBeer\, wine & nonalcoholic drinks available. \nCovid-19: Per King County Guidelines\, we will no longer be asking for proof of vaccination\, or enforcing any mask mandates.  We strongly encourage and support each individual in making the choice that is best for them.  Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these new guidelines. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers
DESCRIPTION:Fresh off a European tour\, Seattle Band\, Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers are celebrating their recent release\, Split at the Seams\, with a post-pandemic-in-person-celebration at Miller’s. Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers draw from the broad palettes of Americana\, folk\, and rock to craft their own distinct flavor of modern pop honkey-tonk. On their new LP\, Split At The Seams\, their years of creative collaboration shine through with a warm\, in-the-pocket confidence. Much like the Salish Sea which they call home\, Split At The Seams is expansive\, just a touch rugged\, and undeniably beautiful. \n“Dance Dance Dance” an explosive folk song topped with a colorful gypsy style instrumental breakdown. Clark sings with fantastical imagery that rekindles a sense of savior and style reminiscent of Balkan Beat Box jamming with Gillian Welch. Glide Magazine \nCarrie Clark \n*Tickets are nonrefundable\, unless show is cancelled\, or rescheduled. \n

SUMMARY:Uncle Bonsai
DESCRIPTION:“A folk-pop trio from Seattle\, performs funny original songs whose exquisite musical detail and subtle needling wit attain a level of craft not often seen in pop” – NY Times \nImagine what might happen if Tim Burton and Edward Gorey hijacked the Andrews Sisters en route to a Stephen Sondheim festival with The Beatles and Tom Lehrer in the sidecar; you’d get Seattle super-harmonizers Uncle Bonsai. With just three voices and an acoustic guitar\, Uncle Bonsai presents an often dizzying vocal array of intricate harmony. Their songs\, dark and hilarious at times\, just as often delight with moments of great insight and beauty. The trio aligns itself with the under-achiever\, the dejected\, the outsider\, the black sheep. Densely-packed lyrics fly by in a whirr at times\, and take a skewed stance on topics such as first-world problems\, the creation of the universe\, the afterlife\, and\, of course\, holidays with the family. Uncle Bonsai’s acoustic folk-pop songs are almost one-act plays or short stories\, resisting strict pop\, folk\, or singer-songwriter categories. Their songs focus on the passing of time\, the passing of genes\, and the passing of pets – the truth of everything seemingly buried somewhere under the family tree. \nThe group has eight recordings\, a reversible/hard cover book for parents (and their kids)\, and is currently preparing an all-new show\, “Seven Sins\, Seven Wonders\, Seven Dwarfs\,” a 25-song song cycle which will premiere in March 2023. \nIt’s been over a decade since Uncle Bonsai visited Carnation and now\, finally\, the trio returns to Miller’s to celebrate their 41st Anniversary. Expect songs from four decades of performing/recording\, including the most recent releases “The Family Feast: The Study of the Human Condition\, First World Problems\, and the Lasting Physiological and Psychological Effects of Eating Our Young” and “The Grim Parade.” But that’s not all; Uncle Bonsai will be performing a few songs from the aforementioned “Seven Sins\, Seven Wonders\, Seven Dwarfs” song cycle including perhaps — shhh\, it’s a secret — a world premiere or two! \n“Singers Ratshin\, O’Neill and Adler are pitch-perfect in their delivery of often complex harmonic arrangements. And if there were an Ella Fitzgerald Award for Exquisite Elocution in Song\, they would surely get it. The trio officially bills itself as a “folk” outfit\, but has none of the naiveté that label might suggest. These are nicely edgy\, sour-sweet songs\, written for grown-ups.” – The Seattle Times \nUncle Bonsai Home Page \n*Tickets are nonrefundable\, unless show is cancelled\, or rescheduled.  Tickets are fully transferable. \n
