SUMMARY:Warren Dunes with The Deacon Raleigh St James Band
DESCRIPTION:Warren Dunes plays PNW Tropicalia and is led by keyboardist/vocalist Julia Massey. Their unique style of Beach Rock is born from the cold waters and grey sky beaches of the Salish Sea and is highlighted by Massey’s double keyboards and crystalline voice soaring over chiming guitars and thundering drums from husband Jared Cortese and his brother Dominic Cortese. \nA long-time favorite in Seattle\, Massey’s newest project gained national attention after an In Studio performance on KEXP and broad airplay for their debut LP Get Well Soon on college radio. In 2024 Warren Dunes performed at notable festivals around the PNW including Treefort Music Fest\, Capitol Hill Block Party\, and Bumbershoot Music Festival\, and their most recent release Aquamarine was voted one of KEXP’s listeners top 50 albums of 2024. \nThe Deacon Raleigh St James Band is a passion project\, a team of artists who follow the song: a story unfolding. The Deacon and cohorts of up to 7 musicians will fill Millers with love\, family\, and music.  Deacon Raleigh’s daughters will add backing vocals along with longtime vocalist collaborator Dani-Rad.  It’s a full band with some new and old faces.  Deacon Raleigh’s music is eclectic.  Part of an emerging movement some are calling New Americana\, the songs weave characters and setting together with strands of indie\, country\, rock\, pop\, and funk. \n*Tickets are non-refundable\, unless the show is cancelled or rescheduled.  If you cannot attend a show\, tickets can be transferred from the purchaser to another individual\, or individuals. Tickets purchased for a specific event cannot be transferred to a different event. \n*Doors open one hour before scheduled show time \n*Seating is on a first come basis and sold-out shows are partially seated.  Please arrive early for the best seating options. Reservations not available. \n*Food and beverages. Beer\, wine\, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.  We are not currently serving food\, but food can be brought in from home\, or neighborhood restaurants.  No outside drinks please. \nShows are all ages.
