Mikey and Matty are a Seattle based duo who’ve released music and toured nationally with many varying projects over the course of their decades long career. From the duo-centric music of their namesake, to notable mid-aught Seattle staples Curtains For You, True Bugs and Shallow Lenses, Mikey and Matty have been active participants in the vibrant music scene of the Pacific Northwest for many years, and have been featured in The Seattle Times, KEXP, Evening Magazine and New Day Northwest. As a permanent member of The Head and The Heart, Matty has toured internationally, released multiple acclaimed albums, and performed on many nationally syndicated television programs from The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Ellen and many more. Mikey has toured extensively as a member of another notable Seattle band, The Moondoggies, and has a popular local children’s entertainment act, Mikey The Rad Scientist, which has been featured on many prominent festival lineups in the region, as well as Evening Magazine. Their latest effort, And It Came to Pass, Not To Stay, is a return to their common musical kinship, featuring the brotherly harmonies and heartfelt song-craft that started them on their multi-faceted career path.
