Snovalley Pride is thrilled to partner with the GSBA (Greater Seattle Business Alliance) for this FREE Community Education event, where we will learn about specific LGBTQ+ topics and have an opportunity for Q&A to get your questions answered!

In this gathering we will discuss:
Micro Aggressions and Macro Impact
Communication is key in an ever-changing world. Relating to each other on an empathetic and human level is pivotal to cultivating long lasting relationships. Learn how commonly perpetuated stereotypes and turns of phrase can be deeply harmful, even when they seem innocuous to the average person.

Goals
-Develop an understanding of how microaggressions contribute to the oppression of marginalized people.
-Learn to readily identify different types of microaggressions and how to call them out in your day to day life.

After our presentation from the GSBA, the floor will be open for you to ask questions to gain a better understanding of these topics. Gather with like-minded people in our Valley community, make new friends, and feel supported as we gain a deeper understanding of these topics together.
