Home Before Dark is composed of mostly Snoqualmie Valley jug band musicians, who are life-long friends and have been playing together for decades in various bands (The Poindexters, The Hip Replacement Band, the Budget Funeral Band, and even The Devils of Duvall). Once they even called themselves Big Dairy Air and the Blue Mooners, which so infatuated a former mayor of Carnation, that he brought a party with him to hear them in Duvall.

They favor novelty, pre-war blues, and tin-pan alley tunes, with a dash of humor now and then to keep things happy!
